Roger James believes a return to Rosehill and a middle distance can serve to bring out the best in Silent Achiever in Saturday’s $A500,000 Gr.1 Ranvet Stakes.
“There’s no doubt the bigger tracks suit her better,” he said. “We’re in to win it, but it’s not going to be desperation stakes if we don’t and she’ll go on to the BMW.”
Silent Achiever, who pleased James with her last-start fourth in the Gr.1 Chipping Norton Stakes over a mile, won both the Ranvet and the BMW 12 months ago.
