Stakes-winning mare Full Of Spirit has joined the leading Melbourne stable of Peter Moody.
“We are indebted to Roger (James) with all he has done with Full of Spirit as he selected her as a yearling and turned her into a Group One-performing mare for us,” Haunui Farm’s Mark Chitty said.
“With the likelihood of her being bred in the spring, we have one last roll of the dice from a racing perspective and we all felt this was going to be best achieved with her by being based full time in Australia.”
The winner of four races, including the Gr.3 Adrian Knox Stakes and Group One placed from James’ Cambridge yard, Full Of Spirit hasn’t raced since she was injured after the Gr.2 Coupland’s Mile.
She is about two weeks away from trialling to prepare for a late autumn campaign in Sydney and a possible trip to Queensland.
